High on Life is a new game that has been gaining popularity among the gaming community. It is full of aliens and gooey enemies which you will need to kill to progress ahead. High on Life equips you with various weapons, but interestingly, they can talk. You will find the game to be very weird and fun with all the dialogues and immersive galactic crime-fighting action. But, did you know that these weapons can be upgraded? If you didn’t, consider reading this article to know everything about the same.
Squanch Studios’ High on Life is a new first-person shooter game. If you liked games like “Trevor Saves the Universe” and ‘Accounting+’, you’ll be glad to know that the studio has something fresh for you. Justin Roiland, the creator of Rick and Morty, is behind High on Life’s creation. As a result, if you’re a fan, you can expect a lot of fourth-wall gags and unexpected discussions that will entertain you for hours to come. You will find yourself exploring the cosmic space city as a Bounty Hunter.
Along your way, there are some strange characters you will come across that are both cute and creepy. And this will work in a universe where comedy is built into the game itself. That said, High on Life will have you figure out the different ways to use the weapons to suit your playstyle. There are plenty of enemies of all sorts to hunt and some might be harder to defeat with your default gun configuration. In that case, knowing how to upgrade your guns can be very useful.
High on Life: How to upgrade weapons
Mr. Keep’s shop in this alien realm will be your go-to destination for upgrading weaponry in the game. You’ll find a variety of add-ons and upgrades for all four of your guns here. However, you will need to invest a lot of in-game currency for this. Fortunately, there is another way to earn mods and upgrades for your weapons. Luglox, an alien chest that offers weapon upgrades is your best choice, in case you don’t have enough funds. The only issue is that the upgrades are random, and searching for Luglox chests can be time-consuming. This is perfect if you have enough time to explore around while chatting with your Gatlians.
You can employ five(six, if you count Lezduit) different weapons in High on Life. Knifey is the most basic of them all and is a melee weapon. Next, you have Kenny, a pistol which basically is the first gun you will come across. Sweezy is your alien gun that resembles the Needler from Halo. Then there’s Gus who is your shotgun. Finally, you’ll have Creature, which allows you to launch smaller alien creatures at your adversaries, slowly destroying them. And finally, Lezduit, which is a mission-only gun given to you by Gene, in the final bounty. With that being said, we have come to the end of this guide. For more similar content, visit Digistatement.
