How to stream & record with Radeon Software Adrenalin

Many gamers love Recording and Streaming their games for various purposes. Some use them for producing content while some use them to judge their performance. Well, the process of Streaming and Recording can get much easier if you know how you can stream and record with the AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin. Well, if you don’t know how to do the same, you must not worry as in this article, we have shared some easy steps through which you can start streaming and recording using AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin. So, continue reading this article till the end.

Well, if you open the AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin and head to the Stream & Record section, you will find it easy to start recording or start live streaming. But, it is not necessary that the default settings will help you record or stream without any lag. For that, you need to apply some settings first. So, on the Record & Stream page, click on the Advanced Settings option, and start applying these settings to record and stream without any lag:

How to stream & record with Radeon Software Adrenalin

Recording

  1. Record Desktop: Disable it only if you want to record the game and not your desktop.
  2. Show Indicator: Only enable it if you want to see an indicator while recording/streaming.
  3. Recording Profile: Set to custom to make some customized changes.
  4. Recording Resolution: Set it according to the quality you want in your video.
  5. Recording FPS: 60fps will give you a lag-free video. But if you are facing FPS drops while playing a game, you can decrease it to 30.
  6. Video Encoding type: AVC
  7. Video Bit Rate: Find the best Bitrate for you according to your recording resolution. For example, for 1440p resolution, 75Mb/s Bitrate is a good option.
  8. Audio Bit Rate: 320Kb/s or Max
  9. Audio Channels: Automatic
  10. Separate Microphone Track: Enable it to separate your mic’s audio in the video. Keep it disabled if you want your mic’s audio to get included in the video.
  11. Record Microphone: Enable to record your voice in the video.
  12. Microphone Level: Set it according to your requirement
  13. Push to talk: Set it according to your requirement
  14. Audio Boost: Off

How to stream & record with Radeon Software Adrenalin

Live Streaming

  1. Streaming Profile: Custom
  2. Resolution: 720p (preferred)
  3. Video Bit Rate: 6 Mb/s
  4. Audio Bit Rate: 192 Kb/s
  5. FPS: 60 fps (If you are facing FPS drops in your live stream, you can decrease it to 30 as well)
  6. Archive Stream: Set it according to your requirement

So, all these were the settings that you must apply in the Advanced Settings. After applying them, go back to the Record & Stream section and follow these steps to finally start recording and live streaming:

Steps to Record

  1. Under the Record & Stream tab of AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin, select the Record tab
  2. To start recording, click on the Start Recording option after checking the quick settings that appear around it.

Steps to Live Stream

  1. Before starting a live stream, you must connect your Twitch or YouTube account to this software. For that, you must head to the Accounts section under Advanced Settings.
  2. After that, under the Record & Stream tab of AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin, select the Live Stream tab.
  3. Choose the account on which you are planning to go live.
  4. After checking the quick settings that appear around it, you must click on the Go Live button to start the Live Stream.
