Well, on the Microsoft community forums, an independent advisor addressed the error code 0x87e107e2, explaining that it is currently linked to a general outage on Xbox. They provided a link to the Xbox Live status page for confirmation and assured players that Xbox engineers were working swiftly to resolve the issue. By the time you are reading this guide, the issue has been fixed, as the servers are currently functional. But if it still occurs on your system, consider trying these workarounds:

Restart the Console

The first workaround to try is restarting your console. You can press and hold the power button on the console itself until it turns off. Unplug it from the power source, wait a few minutes, and then turn it back on. Restarting the console refreshes the system and could clear any minor glitches that might be causing the error. Also, opening the game from your “Games & apps” section did work for some players after a restart so do give it a shot.

Update the Console

Next up, make sure that your console is up-to-date. To check for updates, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then go to “Profile & system” > “Settings” > “System” > “Updates & downloads”. If an update is available, it will be listed under “Console update available”. Select this option to begin the update process.

Spam the A button on your controller

A workaround that has proven effective for many players experiencing this error on Xbox involves spamming the “A” button on the “press A to continue” screen. By repeatedly pressing the button, players have been able to bypass the loading problem. So, make sure to try this out.

Hard reset

If the issue persists, consider hard resetting your Xbox, then go to “Manage games and add-ons” for the game in question and delete the reserved space. After that, spam the “A” button hard while loading. This workaround too has helped some players get past loading issues and should work for you as well.

Delete saved game data

Deleting saved game data on Xbox after quitting the game has helped resolve these loading issues for some players. Although this workaround requires readjusting in-game settings and involves losing progress each time you log in, it has proven effective. If you face similar issues, try this method and see if it works for you as well.

Check the Game for an Update

Sometimes, the problem might lie within the game itself rather than the console. Check if the game you are experiencing issues with has an available update. On the Home screen, select the game, press the “Menu” button on your controller, and select “Manage game and add-ons”. Then, choose “Updates” to see if an update is available for the game. If there is, install it. Game updates can fix bugs, and improve performance.

Reinstall the Game

The last thing to try is reinstalling the game. Again, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and go to “My games & apps” > “See all” > “Games”. Highlight the game, press the “Menu” button, and select “Uninstall”. After the game is uninstalled, return to “My games & apps”, navigate to your “Ready to Install” tab, and reinstall the game. Hopefully, a fresh installation will resolve this error.

Well, these are some effective workarounds that you can try to fix the Xbox Error code 0x87e107e2. If you find this guide informative, keep visiting DigiStatement for more gaming guides like this. Read more: Is Concord game available on Nintendo Switch & Xbox?
