The WWE 2K series got its start with the release of WWF SmackDown! in 2000, which was a PlayStation-exclusive title. Over the years, the series saw some big changes, like going multi-platform and rebranding to the WWE 2K name with the launch of WWE 2K14. It’s one of the few series under 2K that has an annual release cycle. And with the recent announcement of WWE 2K24, fans have now started asking questions about the game’s roster, something everybody is looking forward to.
The WWE 2K series has always been known for having some of the most fun and expansive rosters out there. And why wouldn’t it be? Fans certainly love to see and play their favorite wrestlers compete and win matches against various other popular wrestlers. From Randy Orton’s RKO to Shawn Michael’s Sweet Chin Music, it’s always fun to see your favorite wrestler’s signature move be used. So, will you be able to play with your favorite wrestlers in WWE 2K24? Well, let’s go ahead and find out who’s going to be on the WWE 2K24 roster and who’s not.
WWE 2K24 roster & all characters list
Well, as of now, no official information has been shared by 2K on WWE 2K24’s roster. As we mentioned before, the announcement for the new iteration of the WWE 2K game series was just made recently, on January 17, 2024, so getting a full character list so soon would be impossible. In fact, there’s very little information available on the game right now. This is why fans will need to wait until January 22, 2024, since that’s the day 2K is set to release more details about the game.
While there are still a good few days until January 22, 2024, the official WWEgames Twitter handle is in full swing with cryptic tweets. On January 18, 2024, the account posted a video in which we got to see a bunch of popular wrestlers name their picks for the cover of WWE 2K24. From Zoey Stark, Austin Theory, and Bianca Belair to Xavier Woods, The MIZ, and Mia Yim, all of them made an appearance in that video. What’s more, Cody Rhodes even reposted the same post, flaming rumors about him being on the cover this year.

That’s not all, though. Besides that video, the WWEgames Twitter handle also posted an image of the current Women’s World Championship winner, Rhea Ripley. And all of this has many fans, both curious and excited for WWE 2K24.

Although there’s no official roster out yet, we do believe that the following have a high chance of being included in the game. But, take all this with a grain of salt, since, like we stated before, nothing has been confirmed yet.
