Shadowlands offers you a new levelling experience with the Thread of Fate. This new game mode allows you to advance your other characters in Shadowlands: select a congregation before level 60, choose areas where you want to evolve regardless of your level, and receive rewards that will benefit your congregation as you earn. levels. You’ll also benefit from some perks offered by your congregation, like air travel and signature techniques, and can even start earning Renown by depositing the collected anima in the dedicated tank.
Choose your Destiny
To access this new mode full of adventure, you must have reached level 60 and completed the first chapter of your congregational campaign (Kyrians: “Among the Kyrians”, Necro-lords: “Faithful to the Primate”, Nocturnal Faë: ” For the queen and the grove ”, Venthyrs:“ Tombe-Vice ”). The Thread of Fate will be available to your level 50-59 characters when they complete the “United Front” quest, given by Anduin Wrynn during the Lair intro questline. After completing “United Front”, you will be transported to Oribos, where you can speak to Scribe of Fate Roh-Tahl to choose the Thread of Fate for your levelling up.
Tip: Confused about how to advance your character? You can also choose to rewrite the story by speaking to Fate Scribe Roh-Tahl. On the other hand, if you choose the Thread of Destiny, you will not be able to go back on your choice.
After selecting the Thread of Fate, you will need to choose one of the four congregations as well as the area where you will continue your adventure. When you enter an area, the main story quests will be marked as complete, air routes will be unlocked, and you will see a quest appear with a progress bar that will give you experience. Fill the bar with side quests, expeditions, bonus objectives, rare elites, and dungeon bosses.
