Losing your in-game progress can be devastating. Unfortunately, a lot of Wild Hearts players have reported that the game is not saving their progress. This is a very serious issue and players are quite disappointed with the game. This anger is justified because Wild Hearts is not a free-to-play title. Naturally, players expect the game to run smoothly and not vanish their progression. Unfortunately, it is not just one platform that has seen this issue. So, if you are also looking for more information about this bug, then you have come to the right place.
Wild Hearts is a great monster hunter game when it actually runs smoothly. The game is highly unoptimized and players have run into several performance issues. Folks with high-end PCs are also struggling to get decent FPS. Now, these types of issues are still common in recently-released titles. Players expect the devs to patch them after a few days. But, the game not saving progress is a big issue. It means that you cannot play the game because you will lose all the data and your progression. So, is there a fix for this issue yet?

Wild Hearts Game Not Saving Issue: Is there any fix yet?
Unfortunately, there is currently no fix for the Wild Hearts game not saving issue. This is very disappointing because it’s already been a few days since the title rolled out. So, players were expecting the devs to prioritize this issue and roll out a hotfix update. But, the recent patch did nothing about this problem. As per reports, many players are still unable to save the game and load their progress. A lot of people have lost tens of hours of gameplay. Now, someone suggested a workaround that might help PC players not lose any more progress.
To do this, make a manual save file in Wild Hearts and then close the game. Next, open this PC and head over to Documents. Here, look for the Wild Hearts folder. Inside, search for the KoeiTecmo folder and check the last time it was updated. If it matches with the time you made the recent manual save in the game, then this means that Wild Hearts is keeping your progress. Otherwise, launch the game again and keep trying to save. Apart from this janky workaround, you can try another method. So, when you run into this issue, close the game. Then, head to your Task Manager and find all Steam/EA-related processes and disable them. After this, launch the game, and the issue should be fixed. If it doesn’t, your only bet is to wait for the devs to roll out a proper fix for this issue. We will update our article once more information is available. So, stay tuned to Digi Statement.
