What does Felvine do in Monster Hunter Rise

Having knowledge of items dropped by monsters gives you an advantage, especially Felvine that’s considered one of the most valuable items in the game, Monster Hunter Rise. CAPCOM’s most renowned title Monster Hunter Rise has plenty of interesting elements that make the game enjoyable and has a massive fanbase that never tends to get bored with its replayability value. If you want to farm Felvine in the game and don’t know where to start, our guide will help you out with the basics of how to use the item, its nature, what benefits you’ll get, and how to get it. Continue reading the article to know what does Felvine do in Monster Hunter Rise.

What does Felvine do in Monster Hunter Rise

What does Felvine do in Monster Hunter Rise?

Felvine is an item in Monster Hunter Rise that Palico holds very dear and for a good reason as it grants him rare abilities and augments his abilities for a short period of time. As one of the two companions, using Felvine on Palico can empower him in battle. However, in return for a temporary boost, Felvine can only be used once per quest so it can be a lifesaver against tougher monsters that you come across in your playthrough. It can boost Palico’s following attributes.

  • Stronger Attacks
  • Health Restoration
  • Increased Support Action Frequency
  • Evasive maneuvers

One thing that you should keep in mind is that if you come across small monsters like Melynx, they’ll attempt to steal random stuff from you, and if you have Felvine, they’ll steal that item first so be cautious of them.

The usage of Felvine is recommended when you’re up against boss monsters or the main target. If you’ve managed to reduce the monster’s health to less than half, activating this item and dishing out damage in the weakened state is the best way to go as monsters can still get the upper hand on you if you’re careless in the battle.

How to use Felvine in the game?

As long as you have Felvine in your inventory, it can be automatically equipped to your quick menu and can be cycled between items using the D-pad on your controller. Once it’s selected, you can press up on the D-pad to activate it. It can be highlighted by a purple icon that appears next to Palico’s name, and its stats will be boosted temporarily.
