League of Legends

Riot Games developed an online multiplayer battle arena game in 2009. This game was the League of Legends. The popular game is available across various platforms like macOS, Windows, and Macintosh. Today, we are going to talk about an important segment of the game – CS in League of Legends.

About League of Legends

The game is played in teams. Two teams consisting of five players each engage in PvP combat to occupy enemy territory while defending their own. The player controls a character known as Champion. These fearsome characters have special abilities and evolve to be more powerful with increasing player experience.

The best strategy to increase experience and buy items is during the initial stages of the game. The amateurs can kill monsters and minions to gather experience and gold. While experience is required to strengthen champions, gold is used to equip armaments from the store.

CS in League of Legends

The killing of minions gives the player a score. This is the Creep Score, also known as CS. During the initial stages of the game, the Creep Score and Kill per Death ratio (KDA) is somewhat used to measure a player’s performance.

The following are some of the exercises to follow for achieving an almost perfect CS.

  • Aim at achieving 95% of Creep Score. Try this with full runes and masteries but without any lane opponents and normal items. This will let you focus on getting a perfect CS without any enemy botheration.
  • Practice the same but with an additional challenge. This time keep moving in between auto-attacks. Try to stay out of the range of minions for an auto-attack. Go in only when you think you can one-hit the minion. This will focus on your mobility and mechanical skill.
  • Practice the same but now, move between each Creep Score and alternate between auto-attack as much as possible. This allows you to prepare for situations when you are alone in the game.
  • Now, add a bot in the lane. Think of this as an enemy simulation. Your goal should not be to kill the bot but to get a perfect CS. You have to manage the harass while aiming at the last hit. This will improve your focus as well as laner.

This was all there is to a perfect CS in League of Legends. Keep practicing and grind regularly to improve your skill.
