It is one thing to have a huge hype about something and another to deliver on the hype. Now don’t get me wrong, the GeForce RTX 30XX graphics cards have truly deserved all the plaudits. Quite literally, it’s the delivery part that has bugged many. The demand for the new Ampere GPUs is mounting. It is no more a secret that there isn’t enough stock to make everyone happy. Additionally, the problem of scalping and the over-priced GPU sale has left many potential buyers dejected. Last time around, reports revealed people in Oman were disappointed with NVIDIA authorized retailers, Gamehub. They were caught selling the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 for almost $600-$1000 over normal price. Today we bring you more updates on GeForce RTX 30XX Stock from the Middle East.
UAE stores have almost run out off GeForce RTX 30XX Stock
Most sources suggest that UAE is still better off against the rest of the world when it comes to pricing. This stands somewhat true post scalping issues also. GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3080 is mostly the only card that is really available to go out today and purchase. At AED 4900 ($1334), the BM Store, store manager suggests that it’s best to wait it out. The prices of course would fall down with time. As far as online retailers in UAE are concerned, most said they haven’t gotten the stock yet. Some are even unaware of its probable arrival. Dubizzle was also found guilty of scalping, particularly selling FE and EVGA cards at a mad price of $1900.
Even otherwise popular retailers like Newegg aren’t able to provide the new Ampere GPUs at MSRP. It is interesting to note that the RTX 3080 models with 20GB dedicated VRAM are yet to be out. So then is this only a trailer of how bonkers the chase to purchase a GeForce RTX 30XX Stock will be? Dell’s Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen Edition also houses the new GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 Founders Edition. Check them out!
