The Witcher 3 How To Fast Travel

The world of The Witcher 3 is vast and immersive, with a map that is larger than those of GTA San Andreas or Skyrim. Well, on such a huge map, Fast travel is the most effective way to get through the cities and swamps. However, if you are having trouble figuring out how to fast travel between spots on the map, you need to follow this guide. Novigrad, White Orchard, Skellige, Nilfgaard, etc, the universe is huge and requires fast traveling at times for more efficient gameplay. But, without proper instructions, you will be stuck riding your horse Roach across all these locations and thereby spending valuable time

The Witcher 3: How To Fast Travel?

The Witcher 3 How To Fast Travel

You can fast travel via two methods in The Witcher 3. One is by a Signpost and the next is via the Harbor(only if you are in a boat). Signposts are basically checkpoints, they are scattered throughout the map. Every village will have its own signpost and some popular areas have them too, for example, a bandit camp, a city, or an important crossroad. You need to discover these signposts first by simply walking toward them when you see them. Doing so will make the signpost visible on your map. Fast travel is possible between two signposts that you have discovered via exploring. To fast travel, simply open up your world map, select and click on the signpost you want to fast travel to. A prompt about fast traveling will appear on the screen asking you for confirmation. So, all you need to do now is confirm the process. Next, you will be teleported to the signpost you wanted to travel to.

Additionally, you can also use a boat to fast travel between areas. The boat method is more practical while fast traveling to pre-discovered harbors. To do so, you first need to find a boat. Upon finding one, hop into it and prepare to sail. Next, pull up your world map and look for the green Harbor icons near the water bodies. You can fast-travel to these harbor icon spots on the map. Simply click on the Harbor icon you want to fast travel, and a prompt for confirmation will appear after which you will be teleported to the harbor you selected.

This is how you can fast-travel in The Witcher 3. With that, we have arrived at the end of this guide. We hope you found this article helpful and for more, stay tuned to Digistatement. Peace and happy gaming!
