Chapter 66 of the manga ‘Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken’ or you could say ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’ in English, titled ‘Merciless’ was an amazing chapter. It shows exactly what the title suggests. Yes, Rimuru shows no mercy to anyone. It is so well written that I love how this manga makes you happy about a massacre.
Rimuru Tempest has arrived on the battlefield and is mercilessly taking out his enemies by piercing lasers through them. No matter if its a veteran or just a recruit, everyone is meeting the same end, death that is. After killing so many soldiers, Rimuru acquires a unique skill called ‘merciless’.
Folgen quickly went to the King worried about his safety. Razen intends to explain the situation to the king after they have got to safety as Folgen goes to fight. Razen explained the situation to the king and staged a safe retreat for him as nowhere is safe anymore. When they made their move, they found that Folgen had already died outside. Rimuru Tempest instantly took Razen out as well. He then moved to interrogate the king as he tells him that he must take responsibility. He also told him that everyone else is already dead except the King and the archbishop. He now moves to commence the harvest festival as he had already collected enough human souls.
So now let’s discuss the next chapter of ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’. Rimuru is in no mood of showing mercy to the humans of farmus, not that he did. He killed everyone, even Folger (Otherworlder) and Razen (Great magician) but the King Edmalis and the Archbishop Rayheim. He leaves their fate to Shion as he sees no credibility in them.
Razen survives Rimuru’s Megiddo attack thanks to his new Unique Skill Survivor. He tries to escape with the King.
The Harvest festival is going to commence now as the required amount of human souls for the evolution is confirmed, but Rimuru is suddenly extremely sleepy because of it. He is finally going to be a demon lord now.
Talking about the release of the next chapter. Chapter 67 will be released next weekend on around 4th of January 2020.
