Work on the fourth addition took several years; it was officially announced at the E3 exhibition in 2019. With the release of Terraria: Journey’s End, new types of weapons, pets, opponents, and more than 800 different items will appear in the game.
The release of Terraria took place in 2011 on a PC, later it was ported to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and other platforms. On Metacritic, the average rating of a title is 8.7 out of 10 points. Earlier it became known that the total circulation of Terraria exceeded 30 million copies.
Everything you need to know about Journey’s End
- 800 new items
- New enemies and challenges
- “A full revamp of world generation”
- New mini-biomes
- Quality of life improvements
- An “in-game Bestiary” which will record “key statistics” and loot information about the enemies you kill, with your knowledge increasing with more kills.
- Golf
- A new difficulty mode that will be “a true gauntlet for the best of the best”
- “All new and enhanced weather effects”
The biggest feature is definitely the ability to play golf. A close second is the master mode which will be a tougher/higher level than the Expert mode which itself was very challenging for Terraria players to complete. There are also a handful of other challenges and surprises that are yet to be revealed.
The update will be released later on to Consoles like Nintendo Switch and mobiles. Journey’s End will live up to its potential and end Terraria on a high note.
