Tekken 8 Release Date for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One

The Tekken series of 3D fighting games is one of the most iconic game franchises in the world. The series is the property of Bandai Namco Entertainment. The most recent entry in the series was Tekken 7. The series is popular among competitive players and casual fighting game fans alike. The game series is also one of the most popular eSports games in the world.

Tekken 7 & Its Longevitytekken

Tekken 7 is the most enduring entry in the series in comparison to the previous entries. The game has received continued support and updates from the developers. It is also one of the most successful Tekken games in the series. The game has four seasons of character passes from the devs. Tekken 7 is on its third anniversary and has also been a mainstay in the eSports fighting scene since its release.

Many fans have naturally been wondering about Tekken 8, the next entry in the series. With hindsight knowledge and the history of the series, we can expect Tekken 8 to continue the dramatic storyline of the Mishima bloodline saga. The hidden cutscene in Tekken 7 has given players glimpses of the story for the sequel. In the hidden clip Lars Alexandersson, Lee Chaolan, and Alisa Bosconovitch are talking about the grim state of the world as Jin Kazama emerges from the darkness vowing to put an end to his father Kazuya’s reign. This all but confirms that the feud between the father and son continues in Tekken 8.

Tekken 8 Release Date for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S & PC

Even though there is currently no concrete official announcement for the release date. The past release schedules between the previous consecutive entries can be taken into account. Therefore, a safe assumption can be made regarding the release date for Tekken 8. Also, If the fact that the six-year gap between the two previous entries is taken into consideration. It is safe to assume that the game comes out sometime in 2023 for the various platforms. The game is expected to be a next-gen upgrade in the series. A next-gen game for next-gen platforms such as Xbox Series X/S & PS5.
