2) Check your internet connection–
It is necessary for you to have a stable internet connection to play Star Citizen. This is even more important when you’re trying to log into the game. So, check that you are getting a decent internet speed. Also, power cycle your networking devices to be on the safe side. To do so, just follow these instructions-
- Disconnect your devices from the internet.
- Power off your modem and router.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds before turning them back on.
- Now, only connect your PC to the network.
- Launch the game and try to log into Star Citizen.
3) Check the server status–
A lot of times, you will run into login issues because the game’s servers are down. So, visit Star Citizen’s official website to check the status of the servers. In case they are down or are facing an outage, then you will need them to come back online.
4) Ask a friend to destroy your ship–
Although this might sound harsh, it is a way for you to get back into the game. Devs have suggested that if players were together with a friend just before logging out, then they can ask that friend to destroy their ship. Well, this will only work if your ship is still in the game and your friend can currently see it.
5) Use the ship in Arena Commander mode–
Now, if you are able to enter the Arena Commander mode with the ship that you used for logging out of the game, then it is recommended that you keep using it for a while. The devs have suggested that the players spend some time with this ship in the Arena Commander mode which might eventually fix this issue.
6) Don’t log out in the ship’s bed–
The devs have also suggested that players shouldn’t log out of the game from their ship’s bed. This also seems to be a cause for Error Code 30009/30018. So, follow this instruction and use another location for logging out till the issue has been resolved.
