Spotify Error PS5 : How to resolve it?

Through Spotify, you can easily find the right music or podcast for every moment in your phone, computer, tablet or any other device. There are hundreds of thousands of tracks and episodes on Spotify. So, it doesn’t matter if you are behind the wheel, at the gym, partying at a club or relaxing at a beach, the perfect music and podcast is directly at your fingertips. You can select the type of music you want to listen and you can browse through Spotify’s collection of friends, artists and celebrities and you can also create your own radio station and sit back. You can soundtrack your life with the help of Spotify and you should definitely try it for once.

It is a digital music streaming service that offers you access to hundreds of thousands of songs , podcasts and videos of artists from all around the world. You can instantly access the content of Spotify by just signing up with your email address or by linking with Facebook. If you don’t wish to pay the fees for the monthly subscription for Spotify Premium and just want to have a test, you can get started without any second thoughts. Through Spotify Premium, you can set the music to be available in ‘offline’ mode, although it is not similar like downloading music in traditional sense.

But the app has been facing certain issues on some devices. Recently, users of PS5 have came up with various complaints related to some errors while using Spotify. Users said that they have received error when they opened the Spotify on PS5. Users said that initially they opened a playlist which went to one song but they were not able to play even that one song. Others said that when they first went to the music icon, they saw that their account was synced and when they tried to download a song, an error message popped up which said ‘something went wrong’ with error code CE-112859-6.

A few users said that they were facing problems when they tried to log in. Some others said that when they tried to search for Spotify on PS5, the console said that the game or application cannot be found. These errors might occur because of internet connection or other server problems. Still, if you are going through the same, you can follow these steps to fix the problem by yourself –

  1. Unlink your Spotify account with the PlayStation app and the Spotify website.
  2. Uninstall the app on PS5.
  3. Restart the PS5.

Alternatively, you can also follow these steps –

  1. Check your internet connection and make sure that it is fast and stable.
  2. Reboot the PS5 console.
  3. Uninstall Spotify and install it again.
  4. Switch off and restart your console.
