Sons of the Forest is an amazing game and it already has both single and multiplayer modes. Now, players are wondering if the devs are planning to add a PvP mode to the game as well. People can create servers and play the game together with their friends. But, this is only co-op and there is no way to challenge other players to duels and stuff like that. Now, a lot of players wish to do that in the game but are unsure about the devs’ intentions. Sons of the Forest PvP Mode Release Date: Is it coming out?
At the moment, the devs have not made any statement regarding the release date of a PvP (player vs player) mode in Sons of the Forest. Since the game is in the Early Access phase, they are busy adding new things with each update. The devs are also constantly upgrading and optimizing the game to let players get a smoother experience. So, it is entirely possible that a PvP mode is currently not on their to-do list.
Sons of the Forest is also not the type of game to have a PvP mode. Yes, it would be cool to chase and hunt down other players on the island. But, when the goal is constant survival, these things don’t make much sense. So, it is possible that the devs might never add a PvP mode to the game.
