It is always best to carry multiple weapons/items in survival video games. In most games, you can use the quick swap hotkey to easily change the items according to your need. Folks are wondering how to do this in Sons of the Forest. Using a hotkey makes things quick and easy. But, how do you set this up? What is the hotkey to use the Quick Swap feature in Sons of the Forest? This can get a little confusing when a game has so many features. So, if you are also looking for this information, then you have come to the right place.
Sons of the Forest follows the footsteps of its predecessor, The Forest. The game has an amazing atmosphere and will require the players to be tactful in order to survive. You will have access to a lot of items that are useful in these situations. But, it will not be easy to find all of them. While exploring the island, you will come across a lot of hostiles. This includes animals and cannibals. You need to prepare a variety of weapons and items to deal with them. A Quick Swap hotkey will be very efficient in these scenarios.

Sons of the Forest: How to Quick Swap items?
Well, there is no dedicated key to quick swap items in the game. But, there is one way that is quite similar to a Quick Swap yet is not entirely the same feature. Fortunately, your inventory in Sons of the Forest has quick slots. The items you assign to these slots will appear first when you press the inventory button. To do this, open your backpack and click on the icon on the top-right that says Add to Backpack.
Now, right-click on two weapons that you wish to add to the quick slots. Remember to only add the weapons that you wish to use in actual combat. Now, whenever you press and hold the inventory key (I), your character will open the backpack, and you will be able to quickly choose from these weapons and swap them. Although Sons of the Forest has fewer slots than The Forest, it is still better than none. Some people might not like the way the Quick Swap feature works in the game, but it is what it is.
