Sims 4: How To Reset A Stuck Sim

Sims 4, as a popular open-world game has got its share of glitches. A major problem people often come across is a stuck Sim. In simple words, the Sim people try to control is not responding to commands. In the game, they will stand still and seem as if they are looking towards something. As a result, many people have been trying to find the fix for a Sim when stuck. In this article, you will get to know how you can fix a stuck Sim in The Sims 4. 

Sims 4: Fix Stuck Sim

The very first thing you need to do is to access and open the cheat box in Sims 4. To do this, click on Ctrl + Shift + C to access the cheat box. Now, as you access the cheat box, you need to input the command, which would enable all the cheats in the game. To do this, open the cheat box and type in the following command:

testingcheats true

Press Enter to enable cheat codes in the game. Once the cheats get enabled, you can start utilising them. To fix the stuck Sim, you need to input a particular command. This command would help you to fix your Sim stuck in the game. Henceforth, to solve this error, input the following command:

resetSim Firstname Lastname

Here, the Firstname and the Lastname refers to the first and the last name of your Sim. You need to mention the first and last name of the Sim, which is stuck in the game. So in the cheat box, you need to mention resetSim Firstname Lastname and click on Enter. Upon pressing the enter button, you will notice that the Sim you were trying to fix gets unstuck. Now you can move the Sim as per your choice. The Sim can now follow your respective commands and display them in the game.
