The Sims

In the open-world game, The Sims 4, we have got a lot of SIMS, where the character is a toddler, a young kid or a teenager. You might not be fond of a toddler or a teenager with bad manners. You would go for a teenage SIM with good manners. In the game, there are Character Values that can be set to determine the good manners and bad manners in a young SIM.

Manners values can increase by friendly introductions, setting the table, cleaning up dishes, or giving compliments. Parents can also teach their kids to say please and thank you. Meanwhile, negative manners are earned by burping or farting, swearing and rude introduction. Toddlers taking their clothes off in front of strangers is also bad manners.

Well in the game, you can also set up the Character Value of the SIM. Cheats help you to add or decrease the Character Value. In this article, we share all the cheat codes which can help you to increase or decrease the character value in The Sims 4.

Sims 4: Increase/Decrease Character Value

To start off, you need to open the Cheat Box. For opening the Cheat Box, simply press Ctrl + Shift + C together. This would open up the Cheat Box. Now to increase or decrease a particular character value, you first need to enable the cheats. For doing this,

  • Open the Cheat box. Write the following command: testingcheats true
  • Click on Enter

Now you can write the commands and set the Character Value of your SIM.

Character Value Cheat Codes

Before you enter the cheat codes for setting Character Value, remember that the character value can fluctuate. To set it at max, simply write 100. To decrease it completely/to remove character value, write -100, and your SIM would not have that character value. You can refer to the following attachment, where the article has got all the particular cheat codes.

  • Conflict Resolution: stats.set_stat lifeSkillStatistic_ConflictResolution 100
  • Empathy: stats.set_stat lifeSkillStatistic_Empathy 100
  • Emotional Control: stats.set_stat lifeSkillStatistic_EmotionalControl 100
  • Manners: stats.set_stat lifeSkillStatistic_Manners 100
  • Responsibility: stats.set_stat lifeSkillStatistic_Responsibility 100

To decrease any of these character values, simply put a minus sign (-) before the 100, to make it -100. Overall, this is how you can increase or decrease the value of a young SIM in the game. For more gaming guides and updates, click here.
