Sifu How to transfer saved game files between Steam & Epic Games

First and foremost, players need to know that save files for both Steam and Epic games are stored in the same general folder for the game, however, the folders for each platform’s save files are separated under the general AppData/Local/Sifu folder. To avoid losing your saved progress, all you need to do is copy the saved game files from your Epic Games folder to your Steam folder. Once you have copied the files, you can start playing the game on Steam and continue from where you left off on Epic Games. It’s a simple process and the steps to do the same have been listed below.

  • Firstly, you need to locate the saved game files on your computer. On Windows, the saved game files for Sifu can be found by heading to this location- AppData/Local/Sifu. To access this folder, you need to enable the viewing of hidden files and folders in your computer settings.
  • Once you have located the saved game files, you need to copy them to a new folder. It is recommended that you create a new folder specifically for this purpose.
  • Next, you need to locate the Sifu folder for the version of the game you want to transfer the saved game files. You will find it under the AppData/Local/Sifu folder that you located earlier. For Steam, the files can be found in the Steam folder. For Epic Games, the files can be found in the Epic Games folder.
  • Once you have located the Sifu folder for the version of the game you want to transfer the saved game files to, you need to copy the saved game files from the new folder you created earlier and paste them into the Sifu folder.

When you start the game, the saved game files will be automatically detected and loaded. This means that you can continue playing from where you left off on the other version. And there you have it, that is how you can transfer your saved game files between Steam & Epic Games. To know how to fix the Controller/Gamepad Not Working Issue in Sifu, click here.
