Players assume the role of pirates who complete quests and also face off against one another. The game is available on various platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and also Xbox Series S. Allow Sea of Thieves Through Your Windows Firewall

Sea of Thieves not working can be a result of Windows Firewall. Therefore, allow the game through your firewall to fix the issue. In order to do this, press Windows + S >> Type Control panel in the Search bar >> Open the result >> Navigate to System and Security >> Select Windows Defender Firewall >> Click Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall from the left pane >> Click Change settings button and check both Private and Public options for Sea of Thieves >> Save the changes.

Reinstall Microsoft Visual C++

Microsoft Visual C++ issues can result in the game’s inability to launch. Therefore, you can reinstall the redistributables to fix the game’s issues. In order to do this, Go to Settings >> Select Apps & Features >> Scroll down to select your Microsoft Visual C++ >> Click Uninstall >> Repeat the process to uninstall all the versions of your Microsoft Visual C++ >> Then, Visit the official website to download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables and install them.

Log Out And Log In Again

Logging out of your game account & logging in again can fix the game’s loading issues.

Do A Power Cycle 

You can also perform a power cycle to fix launch problems. In order to do this, touch the power button for at least seven seconds >> Wait for one minute and turn it on >> Then, launch the game.

Update Your Graphics Drivers

Updating your drivers can help fix the game’s launch issues. Problems can arise as a result of outdated graphic drivers. Therefore, keeping your PC’s graphics drivers on the latest version available is important.

Try And Use VPN To Change Your IP Address

Sometimes the launch issues may be due to your IP location. In order to fix this, you can use VPN to change your IP address before starting the game.

Perform An App Reset

You can perform an app reset to fix Sea of Thieves launch issues. In order to do this, Clean uninstall Sea of Thieves >> Press Windows Key + R together >> Input “wsreset.exe” and press Enter >> Download and install the Sea of Thieves >> Press the Windows key + I & click Apps >> Find and click Sea of Thieves on the list >> Click Advanced Options >> Then, click Reset.
