Schedule I Plants Not Growing Issue Is there any fix yet (2)

Schedule I is all about the high-stakes grind of running your drug empire. Complete with employees, supply chains, and plenty of chaos. But lately, some players have been hitting a brick wall (or an empty pot) with an annoying bug: the plants just won’t grow. Whether you’re managing a modest grow-op or a full-blown warehouse setup, it’s a mood-killer when your crops suddenly freeze in time. So, how to fix this issue? Is this even fixable?

Some players in Schedule I have run into a frustrating bug where a plant gets permanently stuck at 0% growth, especially after rearranging interiors or reassigning employees, most commonly with air pots. Even after watering or sleeping through in-game days, the plant simply refuses to grow, and worse, they can’t be picked up or moved. This leaves a useless pot taking up space. So, what’s going on, and is there a fix yet?

Schedule I Plants Not Growing Issue Is there any fix yet

Well, there’s no one-size-fits-all fix for the plants not growing issue in Schedule I. Since the bug can be caused by various factors, you’ll likely need to try a handful of different workarounds to see what works in your specific case.

Console method

A reliable workaround for the plant growth bug in Schedule I is to enable the developer console in the game settings, then type “/growplants” into the console. This command forces your plants to resume growing, and multiple players have confirmed that it’s the only fix that consistently works for them when other methods fail. Keep in mind that this method may disable achievements as well.

Sleep and water

Some players have pointed out that plants in Schedule I stop growing after 4 AM in in-game time, so if your crops seem stuck, it might just be a matter of going to sleep to reset the growth cycle. Also, double-check that you’ve watered them.

Suspension Rack

One common fix for the plant not growing issue in Schedule I involves setting up the proper equipment: you need to purchase a “Suspension Rack” and install grow lights from the warehouse. Without these, certain plants, especially in specific setups like the Bungalow safehouse, won’t grow at all, even if everything else seems correct. Once the rack and lighting are in place, the growth cycle should resume as expected.

Lights and fixtures

Another key detail players have pointed out is making sure your grow lights and fixtures are properly aligned directly over the pot. If the lights are angled incorrectly or not centered, the plants may remain stuck at 0% growth despite having everything else set up correctly. Precision placement can make all the difference in getting your plants growing again.

Another tent

One player managed to fix the issue by experimenting with nearby setups, specifically, placing a regular tent plant beside the bugged air pot, then removing the hangar and light from the problematic pot, saving and exiting the game, and finally reapplying the hangar and light after reloading. So, make sure to give this method a try as well.

And that wraps up all the known workarounds for the plant not growing issue in Schedule I. While the problem can be frustrating, we hope at least one of these solutions helped get your grow op back on track.
