Last year Samsung announced new M-series in India, which is basically the budget-phone segment, to compete with rivals like Xiaomi and Realme. Earlier than that Samsung had a hard time getting market share in the budget segment in India. J-series, Samsung’s budget series didn’t get enough popularity because of its low value for money smartphone. Samsung Galaxy J6+ is one of the J-series which launched in 2018 with limited features and Android 8.1 on top. The device might have not performed well in the market but according to the official roadmap, the device will be soon getting Android 10.
Talking about the features of Galaxy J6+, the device comes with a 6.00-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1480. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with a 4GB RAM. The device packs a Li-ion battery with 3300mAh capacity. Coming to the camera department, the device carries a dual-rear camera setup that carries 13MP + 5MP sensors. And for selfies, the device carries an 8MP sensor at the front with flash.

Coming back to the Android 10 update status of Samsung Galaxy J6+. All the Galaxy J6+ users will be happy to know that their devices will get the Android 10 based One UI 2.0 update along with other Samsung devices. The Korean smartphone vendor has officially released the roadmap for Android 10 update. The list includes the flagship Galaxy S-series, A-series and other mid-rangers too. The new update has started to roll-out for Galaxy S and Note series.
The Android 10 based One UI 2.0 update will make its way to the flagship series in the month of January and after that other Samsung, smartphone series will be getting the update. Talking specifically about the Samsung Galaxy J6+ Android 10 release date, the update will start rolling out in July 2020.
Well, the new Android 10 update will roll out along with the security patch update, so, you can expect the update in the first week of July.
