Rocket League is undoubtedly one of the most famous games we have on PC, and the intense 1v1 and 2v2 gameplay has always blown our minds away. But the mobile players always had the regret that they did not get to feel the game’s excellence on their devices. But no more. Psyonix has released the mobile version of Rocket League and here is everything you need to know –
WHAT IS ROCKET LEAGUE?
If you are a PC gamer by any chance, you know what Rocket League Sideswipe is. It is the new, free standalone game by Psyonix that has brought our favorite competitive car soccer game Rocket League from PC to the mobile screens.
And the perspective this time is completely new, on the field and off the field! It is just the same as what we have seen in the primary PC version, but do not make the mistake of considering it as a lower version.
The game features fast-paced gameplay (that the PC players must be aware of!) and you will have a lot of different game modes set in various stadiums, intensely competitive online matches, seasons and seasons passes, tons of different customization features and a lot more! The touch controls are highly responsive and intuitive, so you are going to have a really good time playing the game!
WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE OF THE GAME?
Well, this question is not something to be concerned about since the game has already been released for mobile players on 29th November 2021. It is currently available for Android and iOS platforms. We currently have season 1 live in the game that will end on 24th January 2022.
WHAT IS THE ISSUE RELATED TO THE GAME ROCKET LEAGUE SIDESWIPE?
Okay, it has just been about a week since the game was released worldwide, and the players have already started reporting about the issues about the game. Actually, it is a major issue. According to the reports, the game is amazing, but the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro users can’t get an idea about this. In simple words, the game Rocket League SideSwipe is not working on Google Pixel 6 Series devices. As seen, the game takes an infinite amount of time to load, and if by any chance it loads up fast, it crashes upon reaching the main screen.
This has been an issue with all the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro users, and this is what we were thinking until we came to know that a lot of Samsung Galaxy S21 users and Android 12 users have faced the same issue where their game fails to load or crashes. The developers Psyonix have confirmed this persisting issue and they have claimed to be working towards a possible fix for this.
But is there any fix using which the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, S21, and Android 12 users can enjoy the game? Yes, there indeed is. The devs have come up with a solution for the abovementioned users. If you are a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro user, you can try fixing this issue by going to the Settings and then keeping the game’s graphics settings Low. You will certainly feel the change in the game, but there will be no impact on the core gameplay at all. This fix is at least worth trying until the devs come up with a better fix where we do not have to lower our graphics settings.
