Remnant 2: How to Change Language

Remnant 2 is one of the latest releases that is being showered with a lot of fan love all across the world. The predecessor of this game, Remnant: From the Ashes, took the gaming community by storm after being released in 2019. It showed a lot of promise and mesmerized the fans through intense dark fantasy and action-adventure concepts. The developers have made sure to deliver a game that is more promising and special than the first one. And fortunately, they have succeeded. Remnant 2 is considered to be one of the best Souls-like games in existence, where emphasis is given to the use of guns instead of melee combat. That said, Remnant 2 caters to a worldwide audience and has been released with support for 10 languages. So, it is quite obvious that you can change the game’s language at will. But do you know how? If not, don’t worry. Consider reading this guide until the end.

Keeping in mind that Remnant 2 is a global release, the developers have released the game with support for ten different languages. Players can get an intense gameplay experience out of this. Languages have always been a barrier for a lot of people who are looking to enjoy a game completely. Hearing the audio of the game in your very own language is something that is considered to be very immersive. The developers of Remnant 2 have ensured to give this special feel to the players. It is done by translating the interface, subtitles, and even the full audio of the game into multiple languages. Well, providing language options for the interface and subtitles is pretty usual for a lot of games. But the release of full in-game audio in multiple languages requires a lot of effort, so most developers skip this. But Gunfire Games (developers of Remnant 2) have taken care of this front as well. Anyway, let’s now get to the crux of this guide.

As mentioned earlier, Remnant 2 has been released with support for a total of 10 different languages. So, what are they? Here’s the list featuring all the language options available for players in Remnant 2:

  • English
  • French
  • Italian
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Portuguese- Brazil
  • Russian
  • Simplified Chinese

The game’s Subtitles and Interface can be changed to any of the languages mentioned above. But the game does not have Full Audio support for the Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese languages. Other than these three languages, full audio translation is available for all seven languages. Now that you know the language options featured in the game, here’s how you can change them:

  • Enter the game and navigate to ‘Options’ from the Main Menu.
  • In the Options menu, locate the Language Tab and enter it.
  • In this tab, you will get access to the list of languages available in the game.
  • Select your preferred language, and get right back to killing deadly creatures.
