After a plethora of leaks and rumors, the Chinese smartphone tech giant Xiaomi unveiled the MIUI 12 a few months ago. MIUI 12 as many of you might be aware that it is the latest version (successor to MIUI 11) of the custom skin of the Chinese firm based on Android for its smartphones. There are dozens of Xiaomi devices in the market that usually come under two lineups – the budget-friendly Redmi series and the flagship Mi series.
Well, Xiaomi is working really hard for the last couple of weeks to provide the latest MIUI 12 update to its devices. Most of the latest and popular smartphones have already received the MIUI 12 update while the other eligible devices are in-line to get one. Latest phones under Redmi series – the Redmi Note 9 series have already received the stable MIUI 12, but it is not that the Xiaomi is forgetting its older devices. Today, Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 7 Pro in China.
Redmi Note 7 Pro was launched back in March 2019. The smartphone is housed with the snapdragon 675 processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The smartphone was initially launched with the Android 9 Pie, latter received the Android 10 update based on MIUI 11 and now it is getting the MIUI 12 update. The beta version of the update for the device was already out for testing for quite some time. But now finally the stable version of MIUI 12 based on Android 10 is rolling out for the smartphone.
