Realme X50 Pro series Realme UI 2.0 public beta update registration begins

The Realme X50 Pro 5G smartphone was launched on February 24, 2020. The phone runs on Android 10 and is powered by Octa core processor. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Chipset. It has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

Realme X50 Pro 5G smartphone has a Super AMOLED display. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.  As far as camera is concerned, the buyers get a 32 MP + 8 MP in-display Dual Selfie camera  and on the rear, there is an 64+12+8+2 MP camera with features like Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. It is backed by a 4200 mAh battery.

Coming to the topic, the Realme X50 Pro series is finally getting the public beta upgrade after internal testing.

Here are some information before you register for it :

  1. The public beta version is slightly inferior to the official version in terms of stability, and is only for them who are interested in Realme UI 2.0.
  2. If you encounter problems during the public beta experience, please go to the community app to upload the log (requires update the Realme community app to version 2.4), and report the problem in the help center.
  3. If you have any suggestions or ideas during the public beta experience, you can visit the new feature suggestion section of Realme UI for feedback.

There are some warnings before you use it:

  1. Because some third-party applications are not compatible with Android 11, there may be situations where the third-party applications cannot be used normally after the upgrade.
  2. You have to upgrade to the official version of A.22 or above before you can register for the public beta version.
  3. Please make sure that the phone has internal storage space above 5 GB, otherwise there is a risk of upgrade failure. (Check storage space method: Settings>Other settings>Storage space);
  4. Please make sure that your mobile phone has no ROOT and the battery is above 60%.
  5. This update takes a long time, and slight heat may occur during the update.
  6. After the phone has just been updated, some of the installed applications in the phone need to be adapted and optimized in the background. Albums and phone files will also be intelligently organized and scanned again. These optimization actions will increase some additional power consumption in the background.

You can register by following the given steps:

  • Phone Settings -> Software Update -> gear icon in the upper right corner
  • Click to upgrade and early adopters
  • After choosing your own model, fill in the information and confirm the agreement before signing up
