Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is an action fighting game from game developer, nWay. It is a game adaptation of the popular franchise. The game is available on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and also for Stadia. This game marks the return of the video game adaptation of the series to PC since Power Rangers: Super Legends. This game is a favourite among longtime fans of the franchise.
Gameplay Overview
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is a fighting game in which players compete in fight battles using characters from the long-running popular franchise. Each of the characters comes with different fighting styles and special attacks. Players select teams of three characters from the line-up. The team of three characters then battle in one-on-one combat but in a 3-on-3 tag team match setting. This gameplay is similar to the gameplay in Dragon Ball FighterZ and Skullgirls. Therefore, players can actively switch between the three characters at any point during the match, as well as call on the teammates to perform assists. Likewise, players can also call on the giant Megazords to assist them in the battle. The Megazords are available for summoning, via a meter that fills as the team members take damage.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid features different game modes for players such as Ranked Online, Arcade, Versus, Casual Online, Training, and Tutorial modes. The game also has a single-player story mode.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Season 4 Pass Details
The new Season 4 Pass for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is coming out on September 21.
The Season 4 Pass DLC features three new playable characters from the franchise:
- Adam Park – The fan-favorite Black Ranger from the Mighty Morphin version of the franchise.
- Poisandra – One of the main iconic villains from Power Rangers Dino Charge.
- Rita Repulsa – The main epic villain also from the Mighty Morphin version of the franchise.
Getting the full Season 4 Pass also includes players’ access to a Commander Uniform bonus skin for Doggie Cruger, the Space Patrol Delta Shadow Ranger.
