What makes hunting pokemon on a vast map more fun? Doing it with your best buddies. Folks can join their friends in the recently released pokemon video game for as long as they want to. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV) has online multiplayer features that can be accessed via the Union Circle so that players can explore the open world of Paldea with their friends. Naturally, a lot of players are either unaware or confused about how to use the Union Circle and play together with their friends. So, if you are looking for more information as well, then you’ve come to the right place.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV) is a breath of fresh air for all Pokemon video game fans. The game brings a lot of new things to the table. A big open world that requires hours of exploration. This ensures that you don’t get bored with the game. This also increases the replayability of PSV. Folks have always wanted to explore the world of pokemon alongside their friends. But, it has been kind of unimpressive so far. But, things have changed with the release of the latest titles. Now, you can join your friends and explore the whole map and hunt for pokemon to your heart’s content. But, you won’t be able to access the in-game storyline while in this mode.

So, it goes without saying that you first need to be connected to the internet in order to join a multiplayer lobby. Also, a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription is required to access multiplayer features in the game. Anyways, if you are playing in offline mode, you have to switch to Online mode first. So, go to the main menu by pressing X. Now, press the L button. Now, you are all set to join a maximum of three friends on PSV. Just follow the steps below and you will be ready.

  • Press X to access the main menu and select Poke Portal.
  • Next, click on Union Circle.
  • Now, either ask a friend to create a group or create one yourself. Once you create a group, simply share the Group Code with your buddies.
  • Your friends will have to access the Union Circle in their game and enter the same Group code you’ve provided them to join your lobby.
  • Once all the players have joined your lobby, just select the Set Out Together option. You can now enjoy the beautiful PSV journey alongside your friends.
