Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to play on PC?

The lack of a PC port has always been a point of frustration for Pokemon fans around the world. But, with the technological advancements that we’ve made over the years, it is now possible to play Nintendo Switch games on your PC. There are a lot of guides out there that can teach you how to do this but they can’t be trusted. So, today we have made a guide of our own. Just follow along and you’ll be all set to go.Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to play on PC?

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to play on PC?

Well, since this game is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, you’ll have to use some workarounds to get it to run on your PC. What you’re gonna need is an emulator that will help you run these titles on your PC. So, before we get to the emulator there are some prerequisites that you must take care of. For the foremost step, you’re gonna make sure that you have the latest versions of Microsoft Visual C++ installed.

If you don’t, then a quick google search should get you exactly what you’re looking for. Next, we’re gonna install an emulator. For this guide, we’re going to be using the Yuzu Emulator. Just visit the official Yuzu Emulator website and download the most stable version available at the time of reading. Just download install the emulator on your PC.

Once the emulator has been installed, you’re going to need to get some Yuzu Keys. These can be dumped straight from your Nintendo Switch if you have one or you can just find them online (do so at your own risk). After you gain access to the Yuzu Keys just paste them into this directory- C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Roaming\yuzu\keys.

Now, you’re gonna have to download a ROM file for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, these will probably be available a week after the game is released. Just open Google and search for the ROM file a week after the game’s release.

After you have the ROM file downloaded, paste it to a directory and open that directory in the Yuzu Emulator. You should now be able to see Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in your Yuzu game library.

Conclusion

Finally, now you’re all set to be able to enjoy the amazing experience of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on your PC. Make sure you read this article carefully for the best experience. Visit Digistatement for more informative articles like the one you just read. Thank you for reading!
