Pokemon Home, the new cloud service for transferring and storing Pokemon has been launched on Nintendo Switch. Also, its mobile app is available on Android & iOS devices. Pokemon Home allows players to transfer Pokemon within games including Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee/Pikachu & Pokemon Sword and Shield.
In addition to this, some players don’t know how to use Mystery Gifts. Mentioned below are the complete details about the usage of Mystery Gifts.
Receiving a Mystery Gift by using Local Event Check
1. Tap the button at the bottom of the screen to open the menu.
2. Select Mystery Gift.
3. Select Local Event Check.
4. You’ll see a message saying that your GPS is being initialized.
5. Gifts that can be claimed in the area you’re currently in will be displayed. Select the gift you’d like to claim.
6. Select OK to claim the gift.
7. The gift you’ve claimed will be sent to your gift box.
8. From the gift box, you can choose a compatible game to receive the gift in.
Please note that gifts sent to the gift box will become unavailable after a certain period of time.

Receiving a Mystery Gift by using a code
1.Tap the button at the bottom of the screen to open the menu.
2. Select Mystery Gift.
3. Select Code.
4. The code entry screen will be displayed. (Note: Codes never include the letter O, I, or Z.)
5. You’ll see a message indicating that Pokémon HOME is searching for the gift.
6. The gift will be sent to your gift box.
7. From the gift box, you can choose a compatible game to receive the gift in.

Receiving a Mystery Gift by using a code pattern
1.Tap the button at the bottom of the screen to open the menu.
2. Select Mystery Gift.
3. Select Code patterns.
4. Scan the code pattern.
5. You’ll see a message indicating that Pokémon HOME is searching for the gift.
6. The gift will be sent to your gift box.
7. From the gift box, you can choose a compatible game to receive the gift in.
Please note that gifts sent to the gift box will become unavailable after a certain period of time.
Claiming gifts and choosing the game in which to receive gifts from your gift box
1. Tap the button at the bottom of the screen to open the menu.
2. Select Mystery Gift.
3. Select Gift Box.
4. Select which gift in your gift box you’d like to claim.
5. Select Claim to receive the gift in your Pokémon HOME Boxes. Or you can use the displayed code to receive your gift by using the Mystery Gift option in a compatible game.
Please note that each gift can only be received one time per save file. Additionally, once you use a code to claim a gift, you will not be able to use the same code again.
