Pokemon Go Fest is right around the corner. If you haven’t already purchased the ticket, visit the in-game shop and buy it for $14.99. You can enjoy a weekend of Special Research and encounters with featured Pokemon. You can also explore all habitats and participate in some thrilling challenges.
In addition, there will also be an Ultra Unlock Bonus. In order to achieve the Ultra Unlock Bonus, you need to participate in Pokemon Go Fest and complete a set of global challenges in global challenge arena.
Ultra Unlock Bonuses
There will be a total of 32 challenges to be completed in this year’s Pokemon Go Fest. For every 8 challenges completed, you will receive an additional week of Ultra Unlock events. You can receive up to three additional weeks of Ultra Unlock events which include:
- Dragon Week ( July 31st – August 7th)
- Enigma Week ( August 7th – August 14th)
- Unova Week ( August 14th – August 21st)
The first week available to unlock after completing 8 global challenges is Dragon week. By completing 16 global challenges, you will be able to unlock the Enigma week. You will be able to unlock the final week of events, Unova week, by completing 24 global challenges.
A legendary Pokemon will be returning to five-star raids in each of these weeks based on the theme. The Dragon week will feature Rayquaza as the five-star raid boss, Enigma week will feature Deoxys and the Unova week will feature Genesect.
In addition, the Dragon week will also feature Alolan Exeggutor, Horsea, Dratini, Trapinch, Swablu, and Bagon. If you are lucky, you might also see the debut of Shiny Deino during this week.
You will also see Staryu, Jigglypuff, Clefairy, Lunatone, Solrock, Baltoy, Bronzor, and Elgyem during the Enigma week.
If you are able to unlock the Unova week event, Pokemon like Sewaddle, Cottonee, Emolga, and Bouffalant will make their debuts.
