A teaser video featuring several red-spotted Pokemon eggs swaying back-and-forth in a misty, purple room was posted by a few regional Pokemon GO Twitter accounts, yesterday. Well the mystery behind these eggs has been uncovered now.
Thanks to the official blog post, now we know what those mysterious Strange eggs are & it states the following – “It turns out, Team GO Rocket has been collecting a new type of Egg called Strange Eggs. These eggs seem to hatch Poison-type Pokémon, Dark-type Pokémon, and Pokémon that acquire one of those types via Evolution”.
Team GO Rocket Leaders will additionally now be dropping “Strange Eggs” once players will defeat them . But players will need to have space in their Egg inventory before battling with Sierra, Cliff, or Arlo in order to receive a Strange Egg. Strange Eggs will continue to be available in Pokémon GO after the event end.
Strange Eggs will hatch after 12 km of walking, which makes them, the most difficult eggs to hatch in Pokemon GO. Players can earn the below mentioned rewards after hatching a 12km “Strange Eggs”. There is a chance of getting Shiny Pokemon too.
