Pocophone F1/Poco F1 picks June security update, MIUI 12 still awaited

Poco F1 was launched in 2018 & it was the best selling smartphone in Q4 of 2018 according to a report from the IDC Research. Well, it is was likely to happen as the device provided the top-notch processor of that time aka Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 at a very reasonable price.

The device was initially shipped with the Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box . Poco F1 picked the Android 9 update in December 2018 & after a period of one year, it was treated with Android 10 in March 2020. Well, as the device has already received two major OS updates, so it will interesting to see whether the company provides Android 11 treat to Poco F1 users or not.

Apart from this, Poco F1 users are also waiting for the arrival of MIUI 12 update on their devices, which is likely to be available for Pilot testers next week according to a report from Piunikaweb. So, we can expect the launch of MIUI 12 stable update for Poco F1 users by the end of the August.
