PG4VNZ SSDs; next gen bigger and better SSDs from Japan

As the technology space continues to evolve newer gadgets and devices keep coming our way. This gives many manufacturers different windows of opportunity to uplift their positioning in the market. One such brand that came to our notice lately is CFD Sales Co. The Japanese manufacturer understands the rate at which Notebooks and Laptops are evolving and the new supporting cast they require. Hence, it has brought into the market its very own PG4VNZ SSDs. As fancy as the packaging may look, these SSDs carry remarkable specifications too.

The PG4VNZ SSDs are bigger, better and faster than the outdated generation. There are essentially three variants to these M2 NVMe SSDs. In the ascending order of storage, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB. The new PG4VNZ SSDs feature a Phison PS5018-E18 controller in addition to Micron 3D TLC NAND. The first generation of SSDs were also  4.0X4 PCl Express but this next gen has a 1.4 times faster data transfer speed. Both 1TB and 2TB models have a sequential speed of 7MB/s. The 2TB drive has a faster write speed at 6.850MB/s to 1TB drive’s 5.50MB/s. All the three models have double-sided implementations and SLC caching. The SSDs will be available in the market by the first week of November. For your extra dose of SSD trivia you can also check out Samsung’s 980 Pro flagship SSD at our website.
