Palia Muujin: How to get, find, & catch
Palia introduces three Muujin types: Regular, Banded, and Bluebristle. These creatures inhabit distinct locations, and players need strategic methods to defeat them for valuable loot. Learn more about where to find them, how to defeat them, and the loot they offer.
Location
In Palia, Muujin can spawn throughout Bahari Bay. However, if you want to narrow down your search, explore the northwest regions of Outskirts and Thorny Thicket. Here, you will find the Regular and Banded Muujins. Blurebristle Muujins on the other hand, are much harder to spot and spawn randomly. So, keep an eye out for these critters throughout Bahari Bay, and you will eventually see one during your exploration.
How to Catch Them?
To hunt Muujin in Palia, the best weapon to use is the bow with fine arrows. But you will also have to equip Dispel and Slowdown arrows. When a Muujin is in range, start your attack with a slowdown arrow to immobilize it, and then use a Dispel arrow to restrict its magical capabilities. Follow the Muujin, shoot it continuously with fine arrows, and, if it hides in a tree, cut the tree down to expose it and keep shooting. Naturally, when the HP on these critters runs out, your hunt will be complete. Now, one thing to remember while hunting these Muujins is that the Bluebristle Muujin in Palia has an invisibility ability, making its hunt challenging. After shooting it, the Muujin turns invisible, leaving only a sound cue of its movement in a certain direction.
Achievements
Apart from the loot you can collect from a successful hunt, there are also a couple of achievements that can be unlocked. The “Mane of the Hour” accomplishment is unlocked by looting a Star-Quality Bluebristle Muujin Mane. And if you are able to hunt down all three variants, you will unlock the “Muujin Hunter” achievement! Finally, as a symbol of your hunting prowess, you will also be awarded the Bahari Hunter’s Mounted Muujin Wall trophy.
And that is how you can find and catch the newly introduced Muujins in Palia. We hope this was informative. For more reads like this and more guides on all the latest games, stay tuned to DigiStatement. Read more: Palia Pulsing Key: How to get, find, & use
