Palia Maji Market Mayhem Quest Not Progressing Issue: Is there any fix yet

Palia Maji Market Mayhem Quest Not Progressing Issue: Is there any fix yet

Singularity 6’s Palia has started hosting its first major event, Maji Market. The event has been live since August 29th and will continue until September 26th. There’s been a lot of excitement in the community about this new event. Arriving with a ton of rewards and quests, the developers are focusing hard on this one. However, it seems like the Mayhem quest related to the event has some issues with it. This makes it another new addition to the long list of issues in Palia such as the Unable to bake Blueberry Pie and login error code 0.

The Mayhem Quest not progressing issue particularly revolves around Reth and his Mochi Ice Cream. When Reth gives it to the player, two things can occur: either the player eats the ice cream but the quest doesn’t progress, or the ice cream simply doesn’t spawn and, in some cases, even gets deleted. Whatever the case, this results in the player being unable to advance the Mayhem Quest since eating the Mochi Ice Cream is a part of it. So, is there a fix for this issue? Let’s find out!

Palia Maji Market Mayhem Quest Not Progressing Issue: Is there any fix yet

As of now, there’s no official fix from the developers regarding this issue. So, until it becomes available, players will need to follow the workarounds mentioned below.

Check your inventory –

If you somehow can’t find Reth’s specially-made mochi or ate it but can’t advance through the quest, we suggest you check your inventory once more. Additionally, you should also take a look at your house’s inventory. According to some player statements, most of them found the mochi ice cream in their house chest or inventory.

Relogin –

Players can also try logging out of the game and then promptly logging back in. Following that, see if the issue still exists. If yes, then try the next workaround.

Ensure that you are doing the quest in market hours –

The Maji Market’s opening and closing hours are from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. As such, any Maji Market-related quest should be done or completed during those hours only. If you try to do them during aftermarket hours, the quest will neither advance nor end.

Check the server status of the game –

If, for some reason, even after doing everything correctly, the Maji Market Mayhem quest is not advancing, then the most likely reason for that could be an issue with the server. Issues and errors tend to occur a lot when a particular multiplayer game’s server goes under maintenance. To know if that’s true or not, you should follow the official Twitter handle of Palia or the official Discord server for updates on server status.

Free up your inventory –

Since Reth’s specially-made mochi ice cream is an inventory item, we highly suggest that you free up ample space for it. Some players have stated that the ice cream gets immediately deleted if it goes into overflow. So to avoid the pain of being unable to advance through the Mayhem quest, you should go ahead and free up your inventory beforehand.
