Since its arrival the HydrogenOS/OxygenOS 11 has quickly smoothened a OnePlus user’s experience. It carries the finesse to complement Android 11 in the best way possible. OnePlus is known for keeping their devices up and running with the latest software updates. With users still getting accustomed to life on OnePlus devices with new OxygenOS 11, the company wants to ensure their convenience. Due to the same, OnePlus released a new update for OnePlus 8T devices, the Oxygen OS 11.0.2.3 update. Interestingly, this comes at the back of the Oxygen OS 11.0.2.0 KB05BA update. The latter was rolled out only about 10 days ago or so.
OnePlus believes optimization improves user experience. Hence, their updates quite regularly address lots of optimizations for various features. This time around too Oxygen OS 11.0.2.3 update brings in few significant optimizations, contributing to improving overall experience. For starters, power consumption and heat generation issues have all been treated well. Additionally, the smart 5G network feature has been optimized to contribute to battery endurance.
The previous update created lots of buzz as it stabilized the always-on-display (AOD) feature for OnePlus 8 series. The new update now fixes minor lags witnessed while previewing photos in the gallery. It also solves Bluetooth connectivity issues which were reported on OnePlus forum. However, you must note that this update does not change the Security Patch to October. The security patch will stay the same as before, September edition.
