Omega Strikers How to Surrender

Volta football in FIFA 23 is fine and all, but have you ever tried Omega Strikers? Sure, you won’t have legendary football players and perhaps the Brazilian flair that has become synonymous with futsal and street football, but to take their places are the roster of characters and their unique skills and attributes. So picture this: you and your two friends are each playing a unique character in a 3v3 futsal match. With all the skills and special moves of each character, the game becomes more than just putting the ball in the back of the net. Now, since Omega Strikers is PvP, you will often come across some opponents who are Ronaldino reincarnated. In such situations, there is no shame in admitting your weakness and surrendering instead of getting trashed with a humiliating scoreline. But how do you do so? Well, we will walk you through it.

Previously, an option to surrender was lacking in Omega Strikers, leaving the players to suffer a trashing by their opponents regardless of whether they were actually good or if their teammates went AFK. Don’t get us wrong, though; we understand that sometimes going AFK becomes necessary. Anyway, with the latest 2.2 update, players now have the option to surrender. Since you clicked on this article, you might want to know how to do the same. So, just keep reading till the end for the answer.

Omega Strikers: How to Surrender

Omega Strikers How to Surrender

Update 2.2, which went live recently, brought a lot of changes and regular bug fixes to the game. But the main highlight of the update was the new surrender system that players have been desperately wanting. So how does this new system work? Take a look at it below.

Surrender System

So, as you know, the new surrender system will allow teams to concede a match under certain conditions. And what are those conditions? Well, if you’re playing a Normal or Competitive match and find yourself in a difficult situation, you have the option to surrender. To initiate a surrender, your team must have lost at least two sets in the game or have an inactive player. Also, make note that the option to surrender will be visible during the Awakening Draft phase between sets. An “inactive” player is typically someone who has disconnected from the match. However, it also applies to players who haven’t made any inputs for a total of 40 seconds. Keep in mind that all active players on your team need to vote in favor of surrender for it to actually happen. Once the surrender vote is unanimous, the match will end, and your team will lose.

The surrender system is designed to provide a way out for teams that are struggling or facing unfavorable circumstances. It allows players to gracefully accept defeat and move on to the next match. Remember, surrendering may result in a loss of rank, so it’s a decision that should be made carefully based on the situation at hand. Well, now you know everything related to surrendering in Omega Strikers. We hope this guide provided you with all the information you needed.
