Nokia 6.2 April security patch out now, Android 10 still not available

Nokia 6.2 is a mid-range budget mobile that enhanced the market for the company hugely. The model received a positive response from the users and was recognized widely for its camera setup and a neat display look.

The device is equipped with a triple-camera set-up at the rear end where 16MP is the primary sensor, 8MP is for wide-angle, and 5MP for depth. The front camera is an 8MP selfie shooter, and both the cameras are reviewed to produce decent quality photos. The device was launched under the Android One program.

The processor is slightly slow on the first variant, which is the 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant. Also, in comparison with other devices in this price range, the battery backup provided is below average too. But overall, the device works perfectly fine on an everyday basis and the battery efficiency is reviewed to be long enough for a normal day to day use.

Nokia 6.2 is getting the April patchset, the size of the update is 71 MB, and apart from the latest security features, it doesn’t bring anything else.

It’s good to see that yesterday Nokia 3.2 started to get Android 10 update, but it is sad to see that there are no signs when the Nokia 6.2 will get Android 10. Neither the official roadmap nor the official site has released any details regarding the Android 10 update. Below is the official roadmap of Nokia to roll out Android 10 to its devices, but Nokia 6.2 is even not featured in this too.
