Developer Moon Studios is back with a banger. Known for developing the Ori series, the Vienna-based video game development studio is gearing up for the early access launch of its upcoming Action RPG, No Rest for the Wicked. Currently, the game is only slated for PC early access, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S releases scheduled to release alongside version 1.0. And since the game will be heading to PC first, a lot of eager fans want to know whether they will be able to enjoy it on their PC handhelds like the Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go, and the Asus Rog Ally.

With PC handhelds becoming more popular by the day, it’s only evident that there would be questions like this one whenever a new game is announced or released. Games like Elden Ring, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, Red Ded Redemption 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, and many more are already playable on such devices, and many No Rest for the Wicked fans are hoping it’s also one of them. So, without much further ado, let’s go ahead and find out all about that.

Let’s start with the Steam Deck. At the time of publishing this, developer Moon Studios hasn’t officially confirmed that No Rest for the Wicked will be supported for the Steam Deck. Kind of a bummer since many fans were particularly looking to enjoy the game on their Decks. Some fans had asked Moon Studios on both the official forums and the Steam Discussion forum whether they had plans to support the games on the Steam Deck. Mikey, a community manager for the game, stated this as a reply to those questions:

“We’re looking into Steam Deck optimization, but can’t promise anything yet!”.

As evidenced by all this, it’s pretty clear that while Steam Deck support is something the devs are interested in, it isn’t really a priority right now. However, the game is listed as a Playable title for the Deck, so you can give it a try.

Well, what about the Lenovo Legion Go and the Asus Rog Ally? Well, compared to the Steam Deck, we are fairly confident that you will be able to play No Rest for the Wicked on both of these devices. The reason there are always questions about Steam Deck support but not about Rog Ally and Legion Go is that, unlike the Deck, the latter two use Windows as their OS. And that eliminates all worries about compatibility unless a game is specifically made for Linux, which doesn’t happen at all. Furthermore, the Legion Go and the Rog Ally are also equipped with some capable processors that happen to be much more powerful compared to the Steam Deck’s. Now, while Moon Studios is yet to release No Rest for the Wicked’s system requirements, we wholeheartedly believe that you will be able to enjoy it on both the Legion Go and Rog Ally.

For now, this is all we have on this. By the way, you can also take a quick look here if you want to know about Buckshot Roulette’s Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go support details.
