Steam Deck

There is great news for all you Steam Deck owners out there! The developers of Buckshot Roulette have put their game to the test on Valve’s handheld wonder, and the results are in: it works like a charm. According to a developer of the game, internal testing has shown that both the regular and OLED versions of the Steam Deck handle Buckshot Roulette and can run the game. But that does not mean that the game is free from any bugs and issues. Despite assurances from the developers, players have reported encountering issues while playing Buckshot Roulette on the Steam Deck. Problems include failure of button recognition and controller mapping glitches, as well as difficulties exiting the game without losing progress. These hurdles underscore ongoing challenges in optimizing the game for the Steam Deck platform. Finally, Harry Fink, one of the developers of Buckshot Roulette, acknowledged the ongoing issues encountered by players on the Steam Deck, emphasizing that the current support for the platform is labeled as “Steam Deck Support (beta).” Despite the challenges, Fink reassured players that the game functions mostly fine at present and pledged to work diligently towards achieving full verification for the handheld.

Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go

As for the Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go, there haven’t been any official statements from the developers regarding compatibility, unlike the case with the Steam Deck. Given that the game has just been released, there aren’t any player reports available to provide insights on its performance on these platforms. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the game is unplayable on these devices. Considering the game’s low system requirements, which fall well within the capabilities of both the Asus Rog and Lenovo Legion Go, there’s no doubt that Buckshot Roulette can run smoothly on these devices.

Anyway, whether you own a Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, or the Lenovo Legion Go, you should be able to run the game albeit with some occasional bugs and issues.
