Officially released on September 28, 2023, My Hero Ultra Rumble is a brand-new BR title for fans of the popular anime My Hero Academia. Now, unlike other BR titles, you wouldn’t be going against 99 players but instead 24 players, including you. Fans can get the game on almost all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. Although the overall reception for the game has been very welcoming, as with any other newly released title, MHUR too suffers from some bugs and errors. A major one is the “unable to revive” bug that many players have reported encountering.
At this point, bugs are just intrinsic to any kind of game. This includes BR games too. This bug in particular is quite frustrating since it basically restricts you from reviving your teammates when knocked out. In a BR title like MHUR, you will have to ensure that you and your teammates stay alive until the very end for an edge over the enemy; however, this revive bug is restricting players from reviving teammates. So, can this bug be fixed? Continue reading to find out!
My Hero Ultra Rumble (MHUR) Unable to Revive Bug: Is there any fix yet
We really don’t like to be the bearers of bad news, but for now, there are no plausible workarounds for this bug. This “unable to revive” bug is mainly due to the revive token not functioning as it’s intended to. Normally, players could just pick up dead teammates’ revive tokens and then use them to revive them, considering they have the pink card. But due to this bug, players are unable to pick up the revive token from their teammates’ bodies, as it either disappears or appears to be underground, out of a player’s reach.
Cause?
There’s currently no official explanation from the developers regarding why this happens. However, according to some speculations, this bug usually occurs when a player’s game crashes. At times, the revive token even teleports across the map. Suffice it to say, this has made the game unplayable for a lot of players in the community. Especially for MHA fans who have been looking to try this one out for a while.
Official fix release date?
As for an official fix, Byking Inc. and Bandai Namco have yet to release one. More than that, there has been no patch so far since the game saw its release. But considering the fact that My Hero Ultra Rumble is still a very fresh release, a patch update is bound to be released sooner or later. Will that fix this bug? We do believe so, or at least there’s a high chance of it since the community at large has been reporting the same. However, since there is no confirmation as of yet, take this information with a pinch of salt.
For now, all players can do is wait for an official fix or update to drop soon. That’s just how most issues around battle royale games are fixed. If a fix is indeed released, we will be sure to let you know.
Unfortunately, this is all the information we have on this particular bug. If you’re enjoying the game, here are some interesting details about MHUR’s next season.
