MultiVersus: How to report players

MultiVersus is a new platform fighter full of characters from the DC and WB universe. It takes the classic fighting that Smash Brothers made so popular and introduces new maps, characters, and mechanics to it. It has multiple game modes such as team mode, solo battles, and others. This game has multiple iconic characters such as Batman, Superman, and Shaggy from Scooby Doo. In addition to these characters, each character has unique fighting styles and moves. Despite the effort of the developers to promote fair play and prevent toxicity, there will always be toxic players. Certain characters will form the meta and salty players will always be toxic when they lose. In these events, it is best to report the player and his behavior in the interest of the community. In this article, we will be taking a look at MultiVersus: How to report players.

MultiVersus: How to report players

MultiVersus is currently available in public beta recently and players are allowed to download and play it in specific regions. In this stage, the game does not support features like voice chat, which is integral to an online game. Despite this, you can encounter toxic players that are making the game miserable for everyone. These players can destroy the experience of other players by being toxic on text, breaking the game, or hacking. These players are often the reason gaming communities are considered toxic and hard to be a part of. In the interest of the community at large, it is better that these players are reported.

MultiVersus: How to report players?

MultiVersus is in an early stage of development and is currently in open beta. This means there are a lot of features that the game is still lacking. Because this game is so young and new, it does not even have features that are mandatory in most games. For example, there is no report option in the game natively. This might come as a shock to most of you but this is sadly true. MultiVersus does not have a way to report toxic players natively yet. In order to do this, you will have to rely on reporting them from the companion app to MultiVersus. In most cases, these companion apps will be Steam, the Xbox Online community, and PlayStation Online. If you want to report these players, you will have to do so on these platforms independently.

There is, however, one way to do it online. To report a player online, the steps are as follows;

  1. Log into a browser.
  2. Go to the MultiVersus official website.
  3. Click on Customer Support.
  4. Here, you will find a form for WB Support.
  5. Select MultiVersus on the dropdown menu.
  6. Select the issue as Report Abuse, Cheating, or Content.
  7. Fill out the details as required.
  8. Attach proof in the form of screenshots if possible.
  9. Click on the submit button once you are ready to send it in.
  10. You have reported a player.

This is unfortunate because you will have to remember the name of the player and remember to report them from the platform of your choice. That being said, the game is still in Beta and we will surely see a report feature added to the game sooner rather than later. In order to maximize the enjoyment of all those playing, reporting players that are disrupting the game or making it harder for players to enjoy the game is a preferred and recommended practice.
