These days it is not very hard to buy a good phone at an affordable price. While the prices of flagship smartphones might be skyrocketing, budget smartphones have been just getting better and better. Most of us could do 90% of what we need from a phone, without ever needing to spend close to what a flagship phone costs. And it is all thanks to brands like Xiaomi, Realme, Samsung and many more.
But as you may have realised that there is not a lot of profit in making budget phones. So, all these manufacturers include ads in their UI. This is on top of whatever heavily customised skin of Android they choose to go with. So, while you might be getting great hardware, the software experience can leave a lot to be desired. And that’s where Motorola comes in. It is one of the few budget smartphone makers shipping stock Android on its smartphones. So, if a clean Android experience is priority number one for you, should take a closer look at Motorola smartphones.
And one of those can be the Motorola Zoom One, which was released in September 2019. It has a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2340. Under the hood, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. It came with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the back, it sports a 48MP quad-camera setup. In the front, it has 25MP selfie camera. All of this is powered by a 4000mAh battery. Its spotlight feature is an 8MP, OIS-enabled telephoto camera. Overall, it was a good phone with a versatile camera setup.
Out of the box, it ran Android 9. And today Motorola is releasing the Android 10 update for Motorola One Zoon for its Brazil users. This should help make the phone more secure. We hope that the update will start rolling out to more countries soon.
