Uses of Sleep Sac in Monster Hunter Rise?

Having a weapon crafted from this material can easily knock even larger monsters at ease, depending on the resistance of the monster. If you’re going on an expedition or a high-rank hunt, carrying weapons that can induce sleep effects on monsters can sometimes save you from a pinch. Selling it also offers you a handsome amount, although we’d advise you not to do that. The popular weapon & armor that can be crafted by using Sleep Sac are the Somnacanth Mail Armor and Sleepy Shellblade weapon, which both are in high demand. If you’re hyped about getting the material, see the next section below.

How to get Sleep Sac in MHR?

One of the most annoying monsters in Monster Hunter drops Sleep Sac and that is none other than Great Baggi that loves giving players a hard time. Not only it is fast, but it also has a higher amount of health and attack damage. However, it isn’t invincible as it is weak to water, fire, and thunder-type attacks and is immune to dragon and ice elements. Great Baggi can be found on the Frost Islands.

What’s reassuring about this monster is that by defeating it, the chances of getting Sleep Sac are very high. The drop rate of a Sleep Sac from this monster as a target reward is 24%, breaking its head has 30%, and lastly carving it has a 27%. Judging by these numbers alone, we can see that you’ll have better chances of getting Sleep Sac by defeating this monster compared to others with abysmal drop rates. A clean cut to the head will surely award you with the material in the first few tries so definitely try to aim for that.
