Wild Rift in India Release Date League of LEgends

Wild Rift became a reality at the 10th anniversary of League of Legends. It also gained quite some popularity as a great mobile game version of LoL. Wild Rift is Riot’s smaller version of the most famous MOBA. It has a smaller map, the abilities are tweaked to incorporate easy mobile gaming and most of the game’s complex mechanics are simplified.

Enjoy the new 5v5 MOBA League of Legends Wild Rift version of Summoner’s rift. Although other MOBA’s on phone are getting common like Fall Guys. But the publisher of this game is owned by a giant like Tencent that are known for their quality in mobile gaming.

The chatter for the publishing of Wild Rift in India gained momentum in August. This was when Riot established servers in India and started testing the game. The ambition of Riot to expand into the Southe East Asia community is clear especially with a revolutionary game like Wild Rift.

Will Wild Rift be Free?

It is highly unlikely that Riot will put a price on their first MOBA mobile game. It will include some way of microtransactions that is fairly common with bigger games like PUBG and CODM. You can expect Wild Rift to be Free if it gets released in India.

Uncertainty for the Future

League of Legends Wild Rift Release Date in India: Will Wild Rift get banned?

As has been the cause of much debate and discussion, the Indian government has banned Pubg and multiple Chinese apps. Riot being a Tencent owned company puts a huge target on their backs as well. The uncertainty rises as PUBG had a major foothold in Esports in India and was slashed without any hesitation.

Currently, there has been no news of Wild Rift release in India anyway but it was predicted for a 2020 release. What makes things weird is apps like Call of Duty Mobile that is published by Activision but partially owned by Chinese companies went unscathed. If they care about the publisher of the game, then Riot should not need to worry. We can theorize as much as we want but there is a chance Wild Rift will not come to India.

Other Riot games like TFT and Runeterra are still available on Google Play Store so who knows?
