In 2018, we saw the rise of K/DA a virtual K-pop group to take the Worlds stage by storm. After pop music, then K-pop, it marked the era of virtual K-pop! It probably doesn’t mean much to you, but yet it is a virtual K-pop track that reached # 1 on the U.S. iTunes’ K-pop and Billboard’s World Digital Song Charts following its launch on November 3, 2018.
The Korean K-pop group behind the title POP / STARS is K / DA and it’s all virtual & for League of legends. The four members of K / DA are indeed female animated characters from the League of Legends (LOL) Ahri, Akali, Evelyn and Kai’Sa.

Produced and designed by Riot Games Studios, they wiggle and sing along to Korean lyrics for 3 minutes 22 seconds to a catchy style with 21-year-old American singer Madison Beer, members Miyeon and Soyeon of Korean girl group from K-pop (G) I-DLE and American singer-songwriter Jaira Burns (23).
Given the worldwide success of their first POP / STARS song, it seemed logical for Riot Games to put the cover back on with their virtual group made up of Ahri, Evelynn, Kai’Sa and Akali. A Pre-release song on Aug 27.
K/DA Comeback on Aug 27
Posted on Twitter and making rounds over the internet. K/DA with its immense popularity just posting its new logo to attract such massive attention.
They will also come with a pre-release single called the “baddest”. We can also reasonably expect the date of their comeback to match with the League of Legends World Championship. The Worlds will start in Shanghai on September 25 and K/DA should again feature on the main stage.
We will update the news of the group as soon as it flies in. I am very excited to see Ahri dance on stage, my heart beats for the 4 animated women in LoL. League of Legends K/DA comeback!!!
