This patch we are getting the Nexus Blitz, Arcanists Skins and Infernal Skins that you can see here. But this post is all about the balance changes that are coming in the patch 10.14 for League of Legends. The patch will go live on 8th of July, 2020. The downtime will be the usual three hours at 3 AM PDT. So let us get down to the changes that Mark Scruffy Yetter talked about in his weekly patch update post.
There will be a change in the meta, as champions such as Wukong, Volibear, Varus or Ezreal will receive an adjustment (that is, a nerf ) and, as is well known, it is normal for them to stop being as popular as they have been until now.
This development has not been hidden from Riot Games either. Accordingly, you would like to turn a few adjusting screws again to make the new Volibear kit more balanced. With Wukong there is also a champion on the nerf list who is familiar with this place but has not stopped him from dominating the rift. 10.14 Patch will be changing the meta for sure.

While on the one hand there are champions like Volibear or Wukong who dominate the rift in a certain whiteness through their performance, on the other hand, there are now a few of 148 champions who are the opposite. With Zed, Karthus, Alistar or Pyke in the support position, in the next patch Riot takes on four such champions who are a bit behind in the current meta.
With Pyke, it was already clear in which direction he should go before this announcement. After all, he was already on the list in the ” Balance Goals “ recently announced by Riot Games. Although his Magic Resistance and Armor, which he gains per level, will be reduced, his Q will be strengthened in all areas: mana costs reduced, cooldown shortened and damage increased. These changes weaken him as a solo laner, but make him even stronger as support on bot lane.

Alistar Buff:
- Pulverise (Q): Cooldown reduced from 17-13 to 15-11
Ezreal Nerf:
- Arcane Shift (E): Cooldown increased from 25-13 to 28-16
Karthus Rework:
- Stats: Health increased from 550 from 528, Move speed increased from 335 from 325
- Lay Waste (Q): Damage increased to [50/70/90/110/130 (+35% AP)] from [45/65/85/105/125 (+30% AP)]
Damage dealt to monsters decreased to 80% from 100% - Defile (E): Mana Restore effect changed to [all the time] from [only when spell you Toggle Off]
Kha’zix Buff:
Stats: Base Health Increased from 572 to 575.
Taste Their Fear (Q): Impact multiplier if the target is isolated increased to 2.2 from 2
Pyke Rework:
- Stats: Armour per level decreased to 3.5 from 5 MR per level decreased to 1.25 from 1.5
- Ghostwater Dive (W): Movement speed decreased to 40% from 40/45/50/55/60%
- Phantom Undertow (E):
Damage dealt increased to 105/135/165/195/225 from 95/125/155/185/215 - Bone Skewer (Q): This ability’s damage increased to 85/135/185/235/285 from 75/125/175/225/275
Mana cost adjusted to 50/55/60/65/70 from 70
Riven Buff:
- Runic Blade (Passive):
Damage dealt increased to 30-60% (scales alongside Riven’s level) from 25-50%
Sejuani Buff:
- Permafrost (E):
Damage dealt increased to 55/105/155/205/255 from 40/90/140/190/240
Trundle Buff:
- Frozen Domain (W):
Ability’s attack speed decreased to 20/40/60/80/100% from 30/47.5/65/82.5/100%
Varus Nerfs:
- Piercing Arrow (Q):
Ability’s maximum damage AD ratio decreased to [125-145% according to Varus’s spell rank] from 150%
Minimum damage AD ratio also decreased, to [83-97% according to Varus’ spell rank] from 100% - Hail of Arrows (E):

Volibear Nerfs:

Voli’s basic attack speed decreased to .625 from .66 - Frenzied Maul (W):
Effectiveness of healing from the attack on wounded monsters and minions halved to 50% from 100%
Wukong Nerf:

Duration of knock up decreased to .6 from .75
Zed Buff:
- Living Shadow (W):
Speed of ability’s missile increased to 2500 from 1750
Cooldown decreased to 20/18.5/17/15.5/14 from 22/20/18/16/14
Summoner Spell Changes
Ghost Buff:
Effects: Ghost’s movement speed effect increased to 24-48% from 20-40%
Warding Totem Changed:
The time interval between charge stores decreased to 175-120 seconds from 240-120 seconds
Predator (Keystone):
- Effects: Damage dealt increased to [40-120] from [30-90]
Cooldown decreased to [90-60] from [100-70]
