Last of Us Part 1 has been running into all sorts of issues on PC. This is why a lot of players wish to back up their local save file in case something happens. But to do so, you will first need to know where to find these files. It can be a little difficult to do so on Windows. So, it is normal to feel confused. But, folks still wish to know about the save file location and safeguard it from bugs and issues. Last of Us Part 1 was one of the most anticipated games on PC. Folks have been wishing for the devs to roll out the game for this platform for a long time. Last of Us Part 1 has an amazing story that will keep you hooked till the end. The characters are likable and the overall gameplay is fantastic. But, folks have run into tons of issues while playing the game on PC. Some players have been unable to launch the game while others are facing stuttering and FPS drop issues. So, it is best that you back up your safe files and keep them safe.

It is quite easy to reach the save file location of Last of Us Part 1. To do this, first, close the game and then open File Explorer. Now, go to the C drive, and then click on Users. Next, open the folder with your Username on it. Now, head over to the Saved Games folder and inside you will find a folder named Last of Us Part 1. Next, open the Users folder and then the folder with digits in the name. Inside, you will find the savedata folder.

This is where all your local save files are located. Now, all you have to do is copy these files and store them in another safe location. In case something happens and your saves are deleted, then you can simply copy-paste these files back to restore your in-game progression. But, you will need to keep doing this regularly otherwise your most recent progression might be lost. Well, this also brings us to the end of the article.
